The Curling Site Environment and Energy-Saving Key Technical Research Project at the National Aquatics Center Passed of BMSTC Experts Review
Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission convened an expert review meeting on “National Aquatics Center Curling Site Environment and Energy-Saving Key Technical Research Project” on 11 November. The expert team comprised of Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and former designer of the architecture. The purpose of the meeting was to review technical issues faced during renovation. The conclusion the expert came to unanimously after the meeting was that this project passed the review, signifying research work on the Winter Olympic Renovation Project at the National Aquatics Center could begin. Next, National Aquatics Center would advance the subject research task, and strive to finish relevant scientific research work in 2017, laying foundation for realization of high-standard Winter Olympic Curing Event Site.
