“Bird’s Nest Orienteering Running in Ice and Snow Season for Welcoming the Winter Olympic Games” Brings forth Innovation for Independent IP Pattern of “Bird’s Nest”
On February 11, 2017, organized by Beijing National Stadium and sponsored by Orienteering Association of China, “Bird’s Nest Orienteering Running in Ice and Snow Season for Welcoming the Winter Olympic Games” was officially kicked off, which attracted 12 teams composed of orienteering enthusiasts. Wu Xiaonan (Vice President of BSAM and General Manager of Beijing National Stadium Co., Ltd) and Jiang Yulong (Secretary General of Orienteering Association of China) attended and presented awards for the winning teams.
This event was the first to combine “orienteering running” with “Bird’s Nest Ice and Snow Season” and tourist routes. Its contest items included a dozen ice and snow tasks and Olympic cultural tasks such as Cross-Country Skiing, Curling, Olympic Knowledge, Staircase and Peak Beauty Air Corridor, with total route length of about 3.8 km. Xinhua News Agency, People’s Daily and other mainstream media spoke highly of this event.
